Edy’s first and latest book, Keep It Zesty, focuses on Lebanese flavors inspired by his culture with a fun modern twist. He’s the owner of Edy’s Grocer in New York—but before that, he built his career as a chef and caterer. We chatted about what it was like to be in the kitchen as a gay man, his female idols (one of the most important being, Oprah, who yes, he did end up posting a picture with, but it'll make sense once you get there), and much more.
