How High Is Liam Eichenberg's Ceiling For The 2024 Miami Dolphins?

How High Is Liam Eichenberg's Ceiling For The 2024 Miami Dolphins?

The Miami Dolphins are a team that is presumed to be adding a starting offensive guard in free agency in the weeks ahead. Much of the discourse around the position overlooks a young member of the Dolphins' offensive line — utility OL Liam Eichenberg. After playing at both tackle spots as a rookie in 2021, Eichenberg transitioned inside in 2022 and then played nearly all of his starts at center for Miami in 2023. What is the ceiling for a player the Miami Dolphins haven't done many favors for early in his career?

Power to the Pod

Hi Kyle, To what extent do you think Steve Ross’s tampering has hamstrung this iteration of the Dolphins? It just seems like we’d have fewer holes to fill and more cap space if we hadn’t lost that first and third. Maybe Grier and McDaniel will be able to over come it, but Ross’s bungling has sure made things harder. Thanks, JZW

Bucket Head Strikes again!

“Tyreek is the best player on the team, it’s not even close.” Hey how bout this, key drops in big games?!?(Lets not talk about that) Tua led the league in passing with a terrible offensive line that was graded worst in the league for pass rush win rate. They’re saving grace was Tua getting rid of the ball fastest in the league. This fan base doesn’t deserve Tua. I hope he resets the market and then maybe people like Bucket Head, who’s a size queen btw, will respect what the kid has done. Let’s build a wall for Tua and watch what he can do. The irony of this is, we’re going to have another Drew Brees situation in Miami and I’m going to enjoy my popcorn and beer and laugh at all the justification excuses on why Tua went on to win Super Bowls with another team by so called “experts.”

2023 1st Round

Kyle, had the Dolphins had a 1st round pick last year. What player would you have drafted in the 1st round at the number Miami would have picked at? How has that player done in his rookie year with his respective team? and how would that pick have effected us this year in free agency/draft?
