LaKia Starks is an award-winning and Emmy nominated television producer with 10 years in the journalism business. With a Bachelor's in Broadcast Journalism & Public Relations and a Master's in Strategic Communication, she has honed her craft to perfection. With over  a decade in journalism, she excels at crafting compelling narratives that captivate audiences. She is also an Adjunct professor driven by her desire to help future media professionals accomplish their goals in the business.

Outside of work, motherhood and family time LaKia enjoys gracing red carpets, speaking on panels, photoshoots and putting together fashionable outfits.
