As a student who loves animation, I have acquired so much knowledge from this podcast, and it’s quite entertaining as well. I discovered it after it had ended, but it’s an amazing resource and I love listening while I work on my art. Thank you, Angela!

I graduated college last year and I originally found this podcast when i was looking for all the information that i could find on how to get into Pixar and storyboarding. After listening to all the Pixar interviews, I thought I was done but i really like listening to Angela and Jeff talk to these professionals within the industry. Angela has a warm personality filled with positivity and a child-like wonder when it comes for field of film, animation, and art in general. Jeff’s perspective of being a freelancer within the field is also insightful and directly compliments Angela’s comprehensive questions. They start with the origin of the professional and their path to their current position while along the way dwelling into topics like favorite movies, food, and comics. Originally, if the interview did not consist of an employee from Disney, Pixar, or Blue Sky I wasn’t interested. However, Angela and Jeff have taught me a few things. First, just because you don’t work at a large studio, it doesn’t mean your position isn’t important. Second, you should love what you do more than the studio that you work for. Third, perseverance, skill, communication skills and a little luck are the keys to get your foot in the door. So if you are looking for relevant information about the animation industry, great laughs, and all round great time, come and join Angela and Jeff on their animated journey!
