Ep 24: Houston we have a problem, 2020 NBA Draft review, Meg Thee Stallion is GQ’s Rapper of The Year, Jeezy/Gucci Mane Verzuz battle review & more

The World At Large

On this episode of TWAL, we start it off with news coming out of Houston. Rockets franchise player James Harden turned down an extension last week that would’ve paid him $50 million a year. He doubled down on his insistence of being traded to Brooklyn. Que gives his thoughts on why it won’t happen and why it doesn’t make sense from a basketball standpoint.

Next, this past week was the annual NBA Draft. Listen as Que runs down the first ten picks of the draft and offers up a very early draft class prediction.

Then, GQ Magazine named Meg Thee Stallion as 2020’s Rapper of The Year. Que makes the case by reading off her accomplishments and explains how Meg’s year is similar to Cardi B’s 2018 breakout year as well.

Finally, a showdown that’s been 15 years in the making. Last week, the Verzuz battle between Gucci Mane & Jeezy took place. Que not only gives his review of the monumental event but also scores it and more.

The show is then closed out with, “The Last Call”.
