Our Freedom From Fear podcast is all about making German New Medicine fun, easy to understand and accessible for everyone! We are passionate about teaching, sharing and applying GNM in a light and humorous way so you can let go of the fear of your symptoms and sink into trusting the ancient wisdom of your body.     Ep 31 - Separation Conflicts and Topical Steroid Withdrawal

    In this episode, we dive deep into separation conflicts - specifically, separation conflicts that affect the epidermis, the outermost layer of the skin. Eczema, dermatitis, and psoriasis are some of the common diagnosis labels associated with this type of conflict! We share some resolution stories and explore the common “push-pull” nature of these conflicts, where the psyche perceives wanting to either draw someone close or push them away. You'll learn how this biological response plays out in symptoms like peeling, cracking, itchy, red, and/or painful skin. We also tackle a hot topic: topical steroid withdrawal (TSW) - why some people experience worsening symptoms after stopping steroids and how this relates to the underlying separation conflicts. Plus, we discuss the general use of extraneous agents such as creams, supplements, and treatments - do they help or hinder the healing process?
