She has experience with ABA therapy, mental health counseling, case management, and parent education. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is a loving mother of one. Shay is the Founder of Mommyfluent, a NOLA-based toy retail company. Mommyfluent specializes in toys for infants and toddlers and are driven by the desire to make the toy search easier for moms and families. Shay wanted to create a company that merged her passion for family engagement and the importance of play time. Shay currently serves as a Board Member of the non-profit Black New Orleans Mom and a Parent Leadership Steering Committee Member. She is committed to empowering and healing families.”
