Ep 69 - Diamond Diary: Return of the Magos

Merry Christmas to all our wonderful listeners! In this episode will be discussing the renewal of Calva’s Magos contract, addressing the controversy around it from some users, Jimbo finally reveals the apple crumble recipe and we discuss some of the recent Flowty antics. Jimbo’s Apple Crumble Recipe: - 650g of Brambley Cooking apples, peeled, cored and diced into chunks - 2tbsp caster sugar - 1 tsp vanilla - 110g plain flour - 40g demerara sugar and an extra tbsp for sprinkling - 75g sugar, to go with apples as filling - 40g, diced salted butter - 2tsbp rolled oats Bonus: Custard, cream or ice cream for serving 1) Place fruit into a greased dish, add sugar 2) Prepare topping by rubbing the fat into the flour and adding the sugar, oats and vanilla. 3) Sprinkle topping over the fruit. Sprinkle remaining demerara sugar over. Bake 220°C/430F for 40-50 minutes. 4) Serve hot with custard, cream or ice cream. Looking to get started in MFL?
