You start to ask ‘should I go back to posting normal content?’ or ‘do I need to create content that acknowledges the current crisis?’ There is no right or wrong answer, it all comes down to your business and what feels right to you and your team. What you can do is lead with empathy and consider pausing promotional messaging to be mindful of your customers and what they may be feeling.
