We share three practical, no-fuss ways to get noticed:

  1. Master the pre-meeting chat: Show up early (whether online or in person) to chat with key folks before the meeting. A quick mention of a recent win keeps your achievements fresh in their minds.

  2. Claim your work – use ‘I’ not ‘We’: When sharing what you’ve contributed, make it clear with “I did…” statements. This simple shift gives your work the credit it deserves.

  3. Share wins on internal platforms: Use Teams, Slack, or other internal platforms to post successes or useful resources. Tag collaborators and show the impact of your work.
