EP3 - White Bird - From indie to studio films with Marc Forster

The Filmmaking Experience with Hope Studios

Today producer Fredrik Wikström Nicastro chats with a truly special guest and collaborator.

Marc Forster is an award-winning filmmaker, a visionary director, and a storyteller who has captivated audiences around the globe with his incredible films. You know his work from such films as 'Monsters Ball' 'Finding Neverland,' 'World War Z,' and 'Christopher Robin.'

Fredrik and Marc collaborated on the hit movie 'A Man Called Otto' starring Tom Hanks. The duo will be sharing their experiences creating the film and Marc will take us back to his indie beginnings as a Sundance winner and how he spun that attention into a Hollywood career. He will also reflect on lessons learned on past projects like the Bond film 'Quantum of Solace', a film that was shot without a finished script during a writer’s strike. We end with exclusive insights on his new film White Bird, a project has begun its worldwide theatrical rollout and will hit American theaters through Lionsgate in collaboration with Kingdom Story Company on Friday October 4th 2024.
