Episode 004: Chris Helmbrecht - DJ-Actor-Father-Author

In today's’ episode, I had the amazing opportunity to chat with Chris Helmbrecht. Chris has been living in Moscow since 2004. Chris, originally from Germany’s Bavarian territory, has had an eclectic life, working for the German police, a marketing manager in NYC, living in Spain, Tenerife, and now in Moscow, Russia. Chris is a self-proclaimed Nihilist and connoisseur of alcohol and women and he’s also an accomplished writer. Initially starting out as a blogger to tell the tales of his life for his friends, he was eventually approached by Random House and subsequently published “Fucking Moscow”. During the course of our time together, we get into topics such as the FSB, dj'ing in Moscow, rubbing elbows with Russia’s elite, drugs, alcohol, prostitutes, and the good/bad about Russians.
