Episode 007 Duncan Middle School students Ellie and Lucy Chat About Comparing Ourselves to Our Siblings and How We Think About Ourselves

Mike got a chance to have a great conversation with Ellie and Lucy, 8th graders from Duncan Middle School.  They are both in the "Emerging Leader" program at DMS. It was great to get their perspective about what they think about what they think about. I especially liked the advice they gave to middle schoolers towards the end of the conversation. We would like to thank Gear Up Oklahoma for their continued support of our partnership with DMS and encouraging all the students at DMS to #DoGood!  Connect with them on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/ok_gearup/ and on their website at https://okgearup.org/ Connect with DMS on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/ig.4.dms/ You can check out all the fantastic things happening at Duncan Public Schools by visiting their website: https://www.duncanps.org/ The video version of this episode will be uploaded to our YouTube channel soon.  Subscribe and click the bell for all our episodes here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdGfbKYTTO9Bor37ILZtp6g/featured Connect with us at https://dogoodleadershiplabs.com/ and on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/dogoodleadershiplabs/ Facebook https://www.facebook.com/DoGoodLeadershipLabs Twitter https://twitter.com/DoGoodSELkids Our mission is simple.  We don't want to just see people, we want to help people feel SEEN and valued every day, online and off. Episode 006 Empire High School Student Council Members Discuss How to Think About What You Think About

Mike got a chance to have a great conversation with Mrs. Dakota Kaus, Assistant HS/MS Principal at Empire Public Schools, Carson Skiles, Sophomore at Empire HS, and Jillian Porter, Junior at Empire HS to discuss mindset and how to think about what you think about as a high school student in 2022. Carson and Jill are both leaders in student council and they both like to play golf ⛳️ and you will hear them discuss who is better. Mrs. Kaus is an alum of Empire High School and she shares some great wisdom when Mike asks her the question: "If you could travel back in time and chat with 17 year old Dakota, a student at the same school you are leading in now, what would you tell her?"
