I appreciate that every time I listen I learn something new about the culture. I learn about the artists and DJs that I’ve been listening to for years that aren’t commonly known facts to the average fan.

Living in Los Ángeles during the pandemic with all the reggae clubs closed, discovering this YahdLife podcast has been a breath of fresh air for me. As a yute I took the behind the scenes and origin stories of my favorite artistes for granted. As my appreciation for music shifts, I take a more human approach to listening. The stories being told offer new perspectives and inside information about the artists telling their story.
