Found Joe during COVID-19, after social distancing for 9 weeks feeling slightly isolated from humanity. Started with episode one and binged on the next 5 episodes! I had forgotten how Tango and the connection with another human in dance could make me feel. Thank YOU Joe for this podcast and for your guests who are all exceptional human be-ings!

Joe tackles everything with his wide cast of guests. He often describes the podcast as for newer dancers, but 15 years in and I learn something from every episode. That we could all take such care in how we think of dance.

Thanks Joe for collecting and archiving this oral history. What a Tremendous contribution to our art form! I especially appreciate your light hand at editing, the same questions asked from all your subjects, the delicate rephrasing and flow that you create with each one. I also like the fact that you are not editing to a specific amount of time but let that evolve organically. Keep up the good work! Once a week is a big commitment!
