Episode 1: Introduction to the book of Acts

Reflections on the Book of Acts

This is the first episode in a new series where we will be looking at the book of Acts. Today’s episode explores how we get from Kings (the book we focused on in our previous series) to Acts, and what went on between the two books. We also explore why and when Acts was written, who it was written by, and who the main characters are. Acts is often commonly referred to as ‘Acts of the Apostles’, however, it could be more argued that a more appropriate title would be ‘Acts of the Holy Spirit’, as the Holy Spirit is the one constant character throughout the story.

This podcast is part of a series on the books of Acts which is supported by periodic ‘reflections’, which consider questions which have been submitted by members of LifeLine Church.
