Episode 1 – Kelly Jenrette: “You Just Big Boned"

A conversation with Emmy Award-nominated actor Kelly Jenrette, whose short film, “You Just Big Boned" was recently selected as a 2021 Spotlight Initiative grantee by The Creative Coalition. Jenrette shares the genesis of the semi-autobiographical film of a young Black girl who goes on a journey to combat the whispered disease obesity and free herself from her family’s “big boned” label.
