"The Phone Addict" is this first episode of new The Silent Partners business and career podcast. In it Steve Sharman (Hackthorn Innovation) talks with Zina Pearce, Chief Solutions Officer of UK based SelectScience, about supporting an entrepreneur through thick and thin, carving out family time, mental health, the thirst for stats, angry hoovering and phone addiction!

Zina is the partner of Nick Pearce, who co-founded Object Matrix, a cloud storage software business established in 2003 and subsequently acquired in January 2023.

During this episode Zina describes the highs and lows of supporting Nick on his entrepreneurial journey, from startup inception to exit, whilst giving sage advice to others in that all important supporting role.
