Paola Gaeta and Abhimanyu George Jain interview Maaike Verbruggen, Doctoral Researcher at the Institute for European Studies. Maaike Verbruggen is an expert on military innovation, emerging military technologies and artificial intelligence. In this introductory episode, she explains what lethal autonomous weapons are, what kind of autonomous weapons already exist, and what kind might be developed in the future, as well as how they are currently regulated.
