In a special midweek edition of Deer Diaries (A Milwaukee Bucks Podcast!) we were happy to be joined by the singular Kris Johnson to discuss a number of early season topics. Fresh off an appearance by the current play-by-play announcer of the Milwaukee Bucks, Lisa Byington, we were delighted to have the opportunity to have her predecessor undergo the Season Preview Series treatment. Jim Paschke needs no introduction for Bucks fans regardless of how long they've been following the team. While he has stepped back from the daily grind of covering the Bucks, he continues to follow both the team and league closely. His answers to our bevy of questions about the 2024-2025 Bucks reflected that. All that, plus insight on how Giannis Antetokounmpo "pushed" him as a broadcaster and the debut of Jim's Miscellaneous segment: "Paschke's Passport". Enjoy!

Good content, sound engineer needed

I like the podcast as far as what they cover and talk about. Love the bucks, love in depth bucks analysis. Is there any way to get a sound engineer to balance the volume levels? I turn the volume up to hear the quietest mic, but then it blasts my eardrums when the loudest one starts talking. I endure regardless but think it would go a long way in taking it to the next level. Thanks for the content!

There’s no BS to be found on this Bucks site. They call it as they see it. Glad they are seeing the reality of Dante’s inferno on the court. Keep killing it.
