I quite enjoy Platt's prickly food critic articles in the New York Magazine . . .and this delightful podcast is reminiscent. Perhaps more of the moment and sharper, which is a lot of fun. Thanks muchly!
Meh.

Has promise, but interrupting each other feels like listening to two children trying to impress their weekend dad.

Adam Platt complains a lot. About everything. Plenty of people would be thrilled to have your job; why whine about it nonstop? Who cares? Alan is delightful.
Usually pretty fun but sometimes kinda weak

When they do their research and present us with something it's great. When they don't, like the breakfast episode, we are made to sit and listen to Adam Platt trying to act Adam Platt-like and suffer through his rhetoric that culminated to kinda nothing. Like crappy fast food -leaves you wanting more.
