This is the NV Politics Podcast where we discuss local Nevada Politics and hot topics in the state to keep you informed on what is going on throughout Nevada. Your hosts are Dominique Labonte and Tim Hanifan. Dominique is a Senior Leader at Fortune 5 company pursuing a degree in Political Science. She is currently serving as the Secretary of the Executive Board of the WashoeDems organization in Northern Nevada. Tim Hanifan was a candidate for a U.S Congressional seat in the 2022 election cycle and serves as 1st Vice Chair of the Executive Board of the Washoe Dems in Northern Nevada. Together, the pair will be collecting topics from local Nevadans as well as current Nevada news to dissect and share with locals to be better informed of what's happening and how they can get involved.

I feel more in-the-know with local politics

I’m really interested in politics, but the majority of my interest has been focused on the national and federal level of government. In an effort to learn more on a local level, I’ve been listening to this podcast which has been giving me little bite-sized snippets into relevant local political topics. It’s helping me feel more in-the-know locally on what is happening within our state, and what our legislators are doing. Love it!
