Episode 182: Neuroplasticity, Meditation and Medicine Curate Your Health with Dr Heather Hammerstedt

    • Education

Ni-Cheng Liang, MD is here today to discuss Neuroplasticity, Meditation and Medicine. Mindfulness intervention helped her through an aggressive cancer diagnosis. While many people catastrophize and “what if” through a situation like this, meditation helped her manage her thoughts and contributed to a better quality of life. By practicing mindfulness, which is “paying attention on purpose to the present moment without judgment,” according to Dr. Liang, we can rewire our brains in a positive, physical way. She will explain some great practical tips for being more mindful and present in order to respond to stressful situations in a healthier way.
