On this episode, I sit down with Nicole Felix, a BCBA and very close friend. There is a short intro where I explain how Nicole and I met and how we came to work as special education teachers before officially becoming BCBA's. We catch up about our work lives, discuss areas in which we think this field can improve, tackle our biggest self-management struggles, discuss the unique challenges of being a BCBA working with students with severe disabilities and/or problem behaviors, and Nicole candidly shares about recovery and pervasive problem behaviors related to disordered eating.
