A Writer's Diary with Charlotte Donlon
We share diary entries about writing and the writing life from Charlotte Donlon and other writers because the writing life can be a solitary life. Sometimes it’s nice to know we aren’t alone. Charlotte Donlon helps readers and clients notice how they belong to themselves, others, God, and the world. Charlotte is a writer, a spiritual director for writers, the Church Street Coffee & Books Writer-in-Residence, and the founder and host of the Our Faith in Writing podcast and website. She’s also the host of the Hope for the Lonely and A Writer’s Diary podcasts. Her writing has appeared in The Washington Post, The Curator, The Christian Century, Christianity Today, Catapult, The Millions, Mockingbird, and elsewhere. Her first book is The Great Belonging: How Loneliness Leads Us to Each Other. beautiful, honest, and short reflections on the writing life
03/10/2021
This is a beautiful little podcast. As someone who doesn’t listen to many podcasts, preferring to give large chunks of time to reading rather than podcasts, this is a great little podcast that fits into the sliver spaces of life. It’s like getting to have a quick touch-in conversation with a writing friend. ”Hello.” “Your writing life is real and worth reflecting on loud.” “Thanks. I needed to hear that.”
