Kat Kopcha is a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis for an early-stage biotech company based in Boston, Massachusetts. She has over 20 years of experience in the corporate financial planning function for different sized companies and in various industries. Kat’s main career motivation is being part of companies whose mission is to improve the lives of people with rare and deadly diseases. In her spare time, Kat enjoys taking long walks with her husband, Scott, and their Golden Retriever fur-baby, Thor. She also enjoys cooking, listening to podcasts and audiobooks, and taking Zumba classes. After years of focusing on career development, Kat aspires to achieve the perfect balance between staying career-focused but at the same time, pursuing her interests outside of work.
About the host:
Danella cut her professional teeth in hospitality and customer service at Walt Disney World and the Four Seasons. She had extensive exposure to various cultures with her traveling global media sales and journalism job. In the Philippines, she has co-founded four ventures: Full Suite, SPARQ, Homegrown Media, co.lab, all of which have promoted business and entrepreneurship, as well as community-building.
She recently completed the Inner MBA, a certificate program designed to bring more purpose and meaning into the work that we do.
In constant pursuit of balance and self-development, she applies the practices of yoga in her daily life and surfs as much as possible to stay in touch with nature.
