In Episode 24 of the podcast, Erinn Hannigan and I discuss the movie Taps from 1981. Growing up in a military family, she gives a lot of insight into this movie! TAPS OLD-FASHIONED (aka THE SNUG) 1 1/2 oz Jameson Whiskey 1 sugar cube 2 dashes of Angostura bitters 2 oz ginger ale slice of an orange maraschino cherry - Place sugar cube in glass and saturate with bitters. Add a dash of plain water. Muddle until dissolved. Fill glass with ice. Add whiskey and ginger ale. Garnish with orange and cherry.
