EPISODE 29: “MAKING IT RIGHT” FEAT. EMERGING ARTIST BOLU ADEFEMI AND AUTHOR TERRY TUCKER A Dose of Hope Radio

    • Performing Arts

LIVE – WED., AUGUST 4, 2021. This episode will feature inspirational music, positive inspirations, and a 14-year-old with a passion for social justice. Bolu Adefemi is a Canadian singer-songwriter of Zimbabwean and Nigerian origin who emerged as an important new artist in the summer of 2020 with her internationally acclaimed song, “Make It Right,” a powerful call to action about social injustices. Just weeks after first performing the song publicly she was performing it for the media nationwide and around the world. She was honored with the Universal Women’s Network Award and is the 2020 Youth Excellence Ambassador, the 2020 Zimbabwe Young Achievers Award recipient, and was a Theidealme Humanitarian Award nominee. She was also featured in The Hollywood Times. Bolu is using her platform to better local communities in other ways, too (working with Pickering City on a pilot project fighting racism and a virtual performance for Feed The Need Durham are just two examples.) Bolu is already a world changer - this hugely impactful young woman continues to use her voice, determination, and many talents to make a positive difference in the world. She is here as our INSPIRATIONAL MUSIC HIGHLIGHT.
AND – TERRY TUCKER here as our inspirational AUTHOR OF THE DAY! He is here to share his new book, “Sustainable Excellence, Ten Principles to Leading Your Uncommon and Extraordinary Life”. The ten principles outlined in the book will provide the bedrock necessary to form the foundation of unshakable beliefs and dedicated behaviors to reinforce your attitude, no matter how much pain you must endure or how many obstacles you must overcome. His hope is that people who read the book will lead a life of significance, as well as a life of success. He will also share his rare cancer diagnosis ( Acral Lentiginous Melanoma) and journey with us. Through it all, he refuses to be a victim of this malignancy and has vowed to continue the fight. His story and life are incredible! Tune in!
Together, these two are making it right! Making it right for anyone who has lost hope! They remind us that we can fight for what is right, as well as we can fight to live a life of excellence. They remind us that the fight of life is always in the serving of others! If you are feeling lost, hurt, or sick…this episode is for you! You can win!
