This Is Our Hawaiʻi
From Hawaiʻi Public Radio, This Is Our Hawaiʻi is a limited series podcast that asks: Who owns the Hawaiian Islands? Who makes the rules? And why do so many local people feel like they’re being left out? Communities across the islands have had this discussion for decades. Join host Russell Subiono as he digs deep into residents’ frustrations with the status quo. In each episode, Russell visits a different Hawaiʻi community threatened by outside ownership and listens to what longtime locals have to say.

Awesome podcast about the REAL Hawaii!
07/09/2023
This is a very well done, thoughtful podcast that takes an honest, nuanced look at the Hawaii that Hawaiians know. I've learned a lot, especially about the history of Lanai and Molokai that I didn't know. I hope you'll drop more episodes soon! Mahalo nui.
Bad Sound Engineering - inconsistent schedule
1 abr
This podcast would be much better and worth 5 stars if they didn't mess up the volume and engineer it way too low. Also the key to any good podcast is a reliable publishing schedule. It makes it feel as if the author's aren't actually invested in the show, so why should the audience.
