Current Upper Sixth pupil and drama scholar, George Farthing, talks to Canford Podcast presenter Hamish Johnson about his jam-packed life as a boarder in Court House, including, his recent success winning ‘Best Director’ and ‘Best Overall Performance’ in the House Drama Festival for his adaptation of The Black Watch, his involvement in the 1st VIII rowing squad as Cox, the sense of accomplishment he has gained from being involved in the City Reach partnership charity project and the camaraderie and team spirit in Court House he has cherished during his time at Canford. Outside of school, George talks about his experience as an actor in popular films, Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts, his gap year plan to travel to Gambia with Cross Links and future university decisions.
