Episode 36: Who Wants to Live Forever?

Continuing despite the onslaught of technical difficulties... The boys are back with the Freddy Mercury/Queen biopic "Bohemian Rhapsody." From Zoroastrian maxims to hush-hush gay sex in truck stops to recording studio drama and finally the smash Live Aid performance, the movie was a treat for fans even if the critics were polarized and some facts didn't add up. Episode 35: Speed Bumps, Mr. Bond?

Thunderball is probably best remembered for being super long and having underwater fight scenes, but it's not bad (in fact one of us likes it a whole lot.) World Cup fever still not subsiding? The boys got you covered with a Stallone deep cut: Escape to Victory! This 1981 film unites Sly, Michael Caine, Max von Sydow, Pele, and host of other soccer greats in a movie very loosely based on a true story. A POW team plays a German team in a propaganda football match at the height of WWII. Featuring all the classic WWII movie tropes of: the Nazi with an eyepatch, French Resistance woman, prison escapes, and British officers playing cards.
