We release this episode on the morning after June 19, 2020, commemorating Juneteenth, a day in which we pay our respects to those who suffered at the hands of human slavery by mourning together while also uniting to celebrate the great victory of having the freedom to control our destiny. Sports returns to us this summer, leading the way and delivering a message of hope in times of crisis. We discuss the tragic events in recent history and the ways in which the Sports community, once again, stands united as a force of strength, understanding and redemption for us all to share. We give thanks to the athletes who continue to stand and march together in solidarity to convey a resounding message of victory in times of struggle. They remind us that a lifetime dedicated to resilience will always be a cause worth living for.
