Excellent programs & resources

I had a C - Section with my first child and wanted to have a VBACK with my second child. I bought the mini prenatal program and the Labor Position webinar besides watching their free resources and with the help of my doctor, my physical therapist and Mamastefit’s programs I had a successful VBACK even though the odds were low! I was always told I’m too petite and small and that my hips will never fit a child. However, it fit a 7 lb + child with a short labor (including only 30 minutes of pushing). I am so happy to recommend Mamastefit’s programs and resources. I know that if I had to a c section, I’d still recommend their programs because my recovery has been much better since I learned how to take care of my body pre and post partum. :)
Birth stories!

Love the birth stories. Two years ago I had a vaginally breech homebirth that was beautiful and peaceful. It’s a long, amazing story so I can’t type it all here, but it was the best experience of my life. It’s amazing to hear other stories from moms who have gone through similar situations.
Can’t stop listening!!

I have just found this podcast about two weeks ago and I’ve already almost listen to every episode. SO WORTH LISTENING TO! I’ve learned so much and shared several episodes with people I know! And I love hearing all the different birth stories as well, and hearing that every birth is so different! I love that they focus on the birth not just being healthy mom, healthy baby, but also showing that they care about the mom’s emotions as well. And how you can have emotional about your birth, but that doesn’t change the love you have for your baby(s)! This has been such an encouragement!!! It is also getting me thinking about becoming a doula! I’m pretty excited!
Encouraging and Educational

I’ve been binging these episodes over the past few days and think the podcast is EXCELLENT. It feel unique in that no time is wasted… the episodes aren’t too long, but I learn so much in each one because the content is well thought out. The hosts also do a fantastic job of educating even when telling their birth stories. You’ve created a fantastic podcast, ladies!
So helpful!!

I’m really happy I stumbled upon the Instagram page and then immediately saw a post about pelvic pain. Couldn’t have come at a better time since I just started experiencing SPD pain during my pregnancy (first one) and was feeling lost for guidance. Can’t wait to listen to future episodes. Thank you!

Sorry this is so long but I really really really appreciate the mamastefit platform and podcast. A friend ahead in her pregnancy had turned me on to them when I mentioned my lower back (pelvic girdle) SI joint pain. So the first episode I listened to was their one on that. I really appreciated how openly they share their knowledge and how much free and accessible content is available. As well as the options for specific and followable paid programs/classes. I ended up purchasing the 3rd trimester on demand workout program from the site because I realized my body is just changing so much and needs some strength right now (I was only swimming and doing yoga before). But back to the podcast! Them both sharing their different birth stories was SO helpful. I can totally relate to Gina’s experience of being so afraid of “scary hospital interventions like Pitocin” and felt super relieved to hear Roxanne’s story of having a positive hospital experience. Iv found in my pregnancy there are sometimes two really extreme points of view 1 extreme I felt from my OBGYN is the super medical, we handle everything you don’t need to know/learn anything or worry, we’ll make choices for you sort of attitude and then the other extreme is the 1970s natural home birth learning everything you can about obstetrics so you are in control and make every choice is the only way to feel empowered etc) and neither of those extremes felt right to me because I am planning to birth in a hospital but hoping for natural but also want to just have good vibes while I am in there and respect the hospitals experience as well. So I’m so happy to hear modern happy natural birth stories especially in hospital settings that take a neutral middle ground to it all. To learn to understand there is sometimes a place for interventions and how to mentally prepare women for making those choices or knowing they might come up but not being “afraid” or disappointed with them if it ends up being helpful for the birth. It’s really what I was looking for-a place that understood both where the hospital workers are coming from and where a mama hoping for a natural as possible hospital birth can align and be on the same page and not feel like they are on two different extremes but are both working for the same outcome together! Thank you Gina and Roxanne
