On International Women’s Day 2019, they continued their #BeingBrave series on stage . . . recording a live podcast with an audience!

This conversation about was all about #balanceforbetter, discussing some of the places in our world where we are aware of inequalities, including access to health care, period poverty, and education needs. The Glass Half Full hosts brought Charise Stephens, Executive Director of Georgia Wellness and Fitness Festival, into the conversation. Charise also leads U Create Macon, a maker space and entrepreneurship program, and Pearls and Priorities. She shared simple ideas for inclusiveness that make a real impact. (#stopthemeeting)

Dr. Sharon Murphy Augustine, an associate professor in the Tift College of Education at Mercer University, shared about gender equity and creativity in education.

So many things from this event made our glass very FULL . . . we shared about what happens when women gather together, a new initiative called Macon Periods Easier, and this poem by Carrie Newcomer.
