It Happened Here 2024

The fact that this has 4 stars overall with 170 some odd ratings is a shame. It goes to show how narrow minded people can be. The show obviously parodies some of the real life political culture we have happening today, and it also has characters that very strongly reflect both sides of the spectrum. Regardless of where you align ideologically, there’s no denying the quality of the show. It’s very clever, incredibly well written, very professionally produced and the cast are all experts. If your political opinions prevent you from enjoying well crafted works of art, then this might be a waste of your time, but if you enjoy great stories, then you bump this to the top of your list. I’m 3 episodes in and I regret letting this gem collect dust on my list for so long before checking it out. Cheers

University professor teaching the 60s, Subarus, NPR, registering “African Americans” to vote. Such a liberal dystopia. A fascinating document of a particular bubbled mindset.

Story line started off great but then after a few hours it was hard to follow. It had a clear bias toward the government, which I don’t care but after awhile it got old. After listening to the entire story I felt I waisted my time and the ending was lame .

This is such a well thought out and executed radio play. I was hooked from the beginning. Each episodes length was perfect I really felt like I was there with the characters wish it was longer!
