Coffee And Cults

As a longtime listener to great pod casts like Red Handed, I never would have thought I needed another true cults. podcast. But after stumbling onto “Coffee and Cults”, I now know I did! Sam and John offer the thoroughness and deep research, as well as the feeling of community I feel listening to favorites like the prosecutors, Redhanded, Morbid, and Last Podcast On The Left.

I tried several times to listen to this podcast, but I absolutely cannot do it. The sound is terrible, especially the difference between the two hosts. One is extremely quiet, and the other is very loud. It also takes an absolute eternity to say anything at all of substance. What would take a normal person, 30 seconds to say, they could easily stretch into 10 minutes with the, “oh yeah, OK, what’s that, and then what”? you would have to be an incredibly slow thinker to be comfortable, listening to content at this place.

I think it takes a special sort of folk to bring levity and humor to what can be really dark material. Love this pod.
