Episode 6: Maximizing Time

In this episode, Becky and Danny discuss time suckers; tasks teachers must do that take more time than someone might expect. They then look at ways time is used inefficiently and activities and events that wouldn’t be considered focused learning time, but are important for building a strong community and making school fun. After discussing time suckers, they discuss strategies to use prep time efficiently, how to save time grading and planning, and reasons to embrace the fun community building activities that strengthen the school community and culture.
