Episode 6 - The BE-Attitudes: Living Your Best Life PART 4: Embracing Real Strength For A Victorious Life

In the last beatitude we discovered that sin destroys everything good in our life. It is our great horror. To have the abundant life, we must turn away from it; abhor it as much as we would shrink from the death of a loved one. 

But both of these first two attitudes are counter to the pressure of the world culture. We are pressured to live independent from God and to do whatever we want. So how do we have the strength to live in these attitudes Jesus prescribes for us?

The answer according to God’s Word is given by Jesus in this next BE-Attitude. 
“Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭5‬
