In this episode of Unexplained Arkansas, your host Lisa will discuss the history and rumors of Underwater Ghost Towns of Greers Ferry Lake.

In 1938, Congress established the Flood Control Act which enlisted the U.S. Corp of Engineers to go in and create dams in areas where there were flooding problems around rivers which included the Little Red River in Arkansas. This set the path for 6 communities/towns to be either displaced or covered in water.
