As I was privileged to grow up with elephants and interact with them throughout my life, I do understand why people are enamored with them.     Hosts Heidi and Tommy are joined by a guest from Down Under, Gary ‘Gaz’ Jackson, who is a world renowned dog trainer and author. Gaz does not mince words about his distaste for the so-called ‘trainers’ who claim to use positive reinforcement only and/or call themselves ‘force free’. There is in fact no scientific training method that employs only positive reinforcement. Gaz and the hosts discuss the 4 quadrants of Operant Conditioning (OP), which is the most universally known and recognized balanced training method (employed by humans as well!).
