Charles Band's Full Moon Freakshow

It’s wonderful to hear the legendary Charlie Band talk about movies. He was like the Stan Lee of B-movies. It was his Video Zone which took me behind the scenes and made me feel like I was part of some exclusive club about how these movies were made. It was the first time I knew about filmmaking and it really instilled me the love of creating art.

As someone who has always loved the lower budget type movies and monster movies, this podcast has been a blast. Learning about the history of a section of Hollywood that’s usually ignored has been fantastic. Charlie and his guests are amazing and I can’t wait for next season. Hopefully Joe Bob and Roger Coorman return. It would also be nice to hear from Dare Taylor and Diana Prince again.

This is such a fun podcast. I listen to a lot of podcasts (and have been on them) and what really makes them is the quality of the recording, the host’s personality, and the variety of guests. This show nails it in all of them. Charles brings up bits of his own life experiences when talking to guests to bridge the conversation. You can tell he is a natural conversationalist.
