I have too much to express, and with 3 little ones (holding the littlest now), and with wanting to make the kitchen clean so my wife can breathe deeply when she wakes, I’m always doing late night dishes and cleanup. I found your podcast last month, and I’ve now listened to every episode (I listen at 1.5x/speed). I’ve written this review many times in my head and envisioned I’d be at my laptop so I could type freely, yet instead of waiting for that magical moment, I’d rather seize the opportunity and write what I can! I’m a structural integration bodyworker at heart, operating mostly on the downloads and intuitive guidance I get from working on all the wonderful patients I’ve had the pleasure of caring for since 2008. A chiropractor by trade, I also trained in CFT, and with the various wise ones I’ve learned from, I also traverse the fields of somatics, sept tissue, craniosacral, and intuitive movement practices, just to name a few. When the only practicing Rolfer in our area had to close down in 2020 due to covid, he referred many to me for that kind of work, and I was happy to offer my version. It’s my deepest joy to meet someone in that place of need — whether pregnant mom or newborn or child or a dad or grandfather. I love caring for families and seeing them fall more in love with one another as they see their loved one receive rejuvenating work. I love this podcast as it feels like home to me. I love what you two offer in your abilities as interviewers and witnesses, and I also connect so much With the essence of what you both offer as your way of bringing others into healing. I’ve been an avid podcast listener for many years and can say this is one of my favorite ones. I’d love to keep listening, and I’m really thankful for what you’ve cultivated. Keep going!

While I really appreciate the effort and the subject matter. I feel that this podcast really misses the mark. and it’s too bad because structural integration really needs more content like this out there. As a structural integration practitioner, I think that the guest they get very good and I like what they’re talking about. But the hosts seem to take every opportunity to interject their take on the practice, which is how shall we say, one way of looking at things? This whole trauma informed everything is really kind of annoying to listen to after a while. And anytime that a guest says something that they agree with they hijacked the interview and just talk about what they think for like 10 minutes. Please just let the guest talk. It sounds like the lady has been in practice for maybe a couple years so it’s really hard to hear these long yarns about how they’re worried they’re going to traumatize their client.
So informative and up to date!

I do my best to catch most episodes of this podcast and I learn something new and interesting and practical with every show. I really appreciate all of the effort Andrew and Nikki put into this podcast and how they seek out the top part leaders in the field of somatic therapy and structural integration.
The curiosity of Rolfing that just keeps unfolding

With the stories of each interviewer you get a different perspective on what Rolfing means to each practitioner and their clients. Their stories are gold! Giving a different picture of our very diverse background and history. I’m grateful for the people that do the interviewing. Not only are they friends but they’re also colleagues. People that are genuinely intrigued and LOVE the richness of this work called Rolfing, Structural Integration. KaylaAnn:)
