Perfectly Good Podcast - Featuring Tripod and Andrew Pogson

I’ve been a Tripod fan since 2012 when I got my first iPhone and used Pandora. They came up in a comedy playlist and I immediately had to have all their albums. On a sad note, when my Mom died in August of 2017, they released an album called How to train an attack dog from scratch. This had the word Momedy repeated in it and it comforted me so much. They were inadvertently there for me in a way that they had no idea what they were doing for me. This podcast is really cool and it allows us fans to be able to hear the process that they go through to create a song. Brilliant work guys! Love ya! Gandalf

I love this podcast and listen as soon as available. Andrew Pogson is a perfect host, mediator, and editor (and mail deliverer) and his specfic musical insights have really helped me appreciate Tripod's musicality. Plus Tripod are super funny - in music and discussion. Definitely worth an hour every couple weeks.

If you are already a fan of the Australian music-comedy trio Tripod you will LOVE this podcast. You will hear your favorite songs in the purest form Scod, Yon, and Gatesy can produce around varying microphone arrangements. You will get an intimate glimpse into the various aspects of being a 20-year-enduring musomedy trio from Australia. You will marvel as Andrew Pogson expertly mediates the podcast with judicious editing and segment bumpers which perfectly match the tone of the podcast. You’ll laugh (from the hilarious reminiscences and geeky tangents); you’ll cry (from the exquisite harmonies provided by Tripod, and also laughter. Side note: don’t drink any liquids over your keyboard whilst listening); you’ll type many run-on sentences trying to explain to people why they should listen to this podcast. If you are not already a fan, (what is wrong with you?*) give the podcast a listen (the timestamps for the songs are marked in the episode comments) and if you like what you hear buy it! *I’m sure there’s nothing wrong with you. You seem like perfectly reasonable people. It’s not for me to decide what sort of music you expose yourself to (outside of a review of a specific podcast on iTunes). TL;DR: Good music + good laughs= good podcast.
