Ward Serrill, speaking through his dog, Dr. Woody… (or maybe it’s the other way around?) has such a way with words, wit and wisdom. Somehow he muses about the deepest aspects of life, tangled up with clever chuckles and beautiful prose. Quite a package! This “dogcast”, “Chew the Bone with Dr. Woody”, adds a highlight to my day. I can’t wait for the arrival of Serrill’s book: “To Crack the World Open: Solitude, Alaska and a Dog Named Woody”, so I can curl up on the couch, delve into Ward and Woody’s world, and wallow deeply in a concentrated dose of his wit and wisdom.

I instantly fell in love with Dr. Woody. His wisdom belies his years. His human companion is pretty good too. :)
