Right now in quarantine, I feel really alone as an educator. To hear fellow educators that get IT, makes things so much better. Somehow hearing somebody else articulate exactly how I feel makes me feel less alone. They’re discussing how it’s not necessarily that we are sad, but I am sad for them missing out on experiences that they would have experienced. Discussing how being on zoom isn’t the same as the classroom, fading motivation from students, huge influx of different online free programs, and feeling disconnected. I really suggest listening because it always feels better to feel that you’re not alone. They’re fun and real. Right now that’s what we need!
