However, a career-ending injury altered his course, leading to involvement with drugs. Yet, amidst these challenges, he secured a job at a software duplication company. It was here that he noticed significant expenses in couriers and freight services, igniting the spark for his own courier business, which later evolved into INPAX Shipping Solutions Inc.   Nevertheless, Leonard's journey encountered a drastic twist when his involvement with drugs led to incarceration. Undeterred, he emerged from prison with a renewed commitment to sobriety and an unwavering determination to rebuild his life.   Join us as we explore how Leonard surmounted adversity, reshaped his destiny, and laid the foundation for INPAX Shipping Solutions Inc. However, he realized that healthcare needed leaders who understood the complexities of healthcare administration, policy, and health equity.   Driven by his passion for making healthcare more equitable, Dr. Dotson transitioned to public health. He now teaches courses that equip future leaders with the tools to effectively manage individuals and groups within healthcare organizations. His teachings emphasize skills like persuasive communication, conflict management, and addressing interpersonal issues in an organizational context.   Dr. Dotson's commitment to preparing leaders who prioritize health equity is paramount. He believes that future healthcare leaders must comprehend health disparities, cultural competence, and social determinants of health to make informed, positive impacts on communities.  The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the urgent need for healthcare leaders who prioritize health equity.
