Equipped! To Forget The Past

Many disciples of Jesus have a hard time letting go of their past. Who can blame them?! I know I struggle with that sometimes. Sometimes the awful, shameful things of our past can hinder us from fulfilling God's incredible plans for us. But, can it be that it isn't only the bad things of our past that keep us from moving forward? Here's what's happening in this episode:Segment: Did You Hear About This?In this segment I take a look at an issue taking place in our world and suggest how we - as disciples of Jesus - should respond to it. This passage is pretty well known because it talks about the "New Thing" God would do for the people of Israel. But there's an incredible discipleship lesson embedded in this passage. Equipped! To Equip The Next Generation Of Disciples

You and I are the current generation of disciples. We can trace our discipleship "lineage" all the way back to Jesus himself. What a privilege! But what a huge responsibility we have. Equipped! To Extend Grace To Others

Grace. We all love to receive it, but struggle to give it.
