This episode was like listening to an engaging history of the Black Panthers including people I’ve ( unfortunately) never heard of. The guest expanded on the confluence of events in the 70s and 80s including the emergence of crack, how so many leaders were jailed or assassinated. Should be a required listening in any Black history or social justice class.

This podcast brings in thought leaders from places around the world to talk about activism, theories, advocacy, and equity. Trae then ties it back to what is happening in Seattle. Highly recommended! 🔥🔥🔥

Trae Holliday’s new podcast is exactly what listeners need to hear in 2020. She does an excellent job of educating her listeners on current issues that the black community is experiencing, but that may not have made it to mainstream media yet. She ignites her view point with facts, well thought out processes and a passion that can only be described and intoxicating. Her examinations through personal interviews and close conversations help tell the current story and well as the future trajectory of the racial justice movement and how she (and we!) can help propel it.
