I want to share with you all why I believe Ethiopia should balkanise peacefully! As the 3 main power players cannot agree to a complex overlapping narrative, instead 2/3 continue to build their national identity based of fallacy and myth I cannot ever see an end to the suffering. But the geopolitical situation is not going to let this happen.

Today I discuss a bit about the complex relationships in Ethiopias political space. I go through why some people hate the TPLF. And why I feel people are getting the geopolitics all wrong and forgoing their future sovereignty. (This was recorded in January 2022)

I discuss the history of the Neftenga and the Ethiopian state formation and how that period still lingers in the elite of Addis Abeba and Amhara state today. But also how this impacts the way forward. And my opinions on how I think it should be.

As quickly as I can run through the history of the Semitic people. A tiny outline of the Cushitic people, the Oromo Gaada system and then WHY Ethiopia is such a disaster. The internal colonisation and assimilation of the those south of modern Amhara region. The divide and conquer of the Tigrayan and afar people. And why the eprdf constitution did NOT divide the country down ethnic lines. It always was, always will be made up of many nations and nationalities.

These just make me laugh. 😂😂😂

I discuss the element of human suffering, the denial of democracy, the economics of the crisis and the plain fact that the west doesn’t care. The plight of the people is truly up to the internal defence mechanisms and the duly elected government of Tigray and that of the locked up Oromo politicians.
