I just can't get enough of these two girls! They are so funny and so real! I love listen to them! I have been listening for a long time!
Just be honest?
17.08.2022
I hate how the message has shifted. First it’s fat girls empowering other fat girls, now they’ve made their dime off of that and used it up, and it’s just straight not the truth. It’s clearly obvious Brittany had gastric bypass. Why not just be honest? The whole I don’t owe it to anyone is honestly a tired act. They’ve made their money and don’t care about their listeners at all anymore.
Really?

The lack of discussion about the overturning of Roe is just disappointing. I listened through all of 2016 election and as for women empowering women, your silence speaks volumes. I wish they would’ve used this platform to help get information about women’s healthcare out. As mothers of daughters we all have to fight. I feel like they are pushing some Midwestern MLM and just talking Botox. I guess it is a good thing they are not continuing as they are so out of touch
No longer relevant or interesting

I feel like they want to empower women but then not allow people to have opinions contrary to the two hosts. A bit of mean girls mentality, that’s just disappointing. Feel like it’s a platform to get you to pay to join their private groups for their gain. Recommend The Antidote if you are looking for some real women empowering women
Growing
31.03.2022
I love that as we have listened through the years that we have witnessed growth, trying times, successes, and mental health strides. So relatable WHILE funny! This is true life. Circumstances change. Priorities change. Opinions change. Navigating that together has been good for everyone!!
What happened?
26.05.2022
I have to be honest, after listening to the most recent episode (287) about Brittany’s weight loss and Meredith’s observations of how people act differently to both of them, I am seriously disappointed and saddened by the lack of body positivity. Meredith jokes that she should just get liposuction to boost her sales, and Brittany just kind of laughed awkwardly in silence. Brittany how can you not stick up for your friend here and remind her that there is nothing wrong with her or her body and that she is worthy and capable of making all the sales possible? I think this is an important conversation and I am surprised it took you both this long to acknowledge it, but seriously what happened to the Fat Girl Walking? I love you both and have been listening to this podcast for years, literally since 2016, and this conversation really saddened me. Hopefully you can address it better in the future.
My favorite podcast!

Rewriting of History
14.03.2022
I’ve been a long time listener since the beginning. Loved their banter, their guests, and the humor. But this rewriting of history is shocking to me. I am happy Brittany lost weight. I’m happy she’s healthier. I do find her story behind it to be not enough. It isn’t enough to just do a ten minute spiel about body acceptance and health not when your career has been a role model for overweight women. I get where a lot of her readership are coming from with feeling betrayed without any actual explanation. I’m glad she’s going to therapy and feels she doesn’t owe it to them anymore but it’s hypocritical when she’s made money off of them already. What she has done to lose weight is diet culture. It’s not bad. She had a lot of motivation with health issues but you do not lose that much weight without a calorie deficit somewhere. And to leave the women she’s made money off of without explanation, seems really callous. Then to blame it on the internet as if she hasn’t made money off of that either. I get trauma led her to put her body out there the way that she did, but she made money from it, influenced a lot of women with it, and now is blaming it on the internet. I’m glad she’s healthier but this defensive lack of accountability podcast episode wasn’t enough. Not for those women (who shouldn’t have an online influencer role model to begin with but do) that are left wondering that if she doesn’t believe it anymore, where does it leave them especially after they’ve spent their money on her original messaging.
Let Brittany tell her story uninterrupted
11.03.2022
I wish I could hear Brittany’s full story without Meredith talking over her constantly and somehow relating it back to her. You both have a story to share…do it! Just not talking over each other. Brittany was being vulnerable and has something to share
